Temos o prazer de confirmar que o nosso restaurante Michelin estrelado, Vistas Rui Silvestre, reabre em Abril após uma pausa de Inverno.
A equipa tem estado a preparar novos sabores e fragrâncias para 2023, e estão entusiasmados por apresentar novas texturas e aromas para desafiar os seus sentidos. Juntamente com um novo sommelier residente e mesa de jantar do chefe de cozinha, a equipa espera receber residentes e convidados ao longo dos próximos meses.

Nos últimos rankings da Golf Digest, o Campo Norte de Monte Rei foi novamente considerado como o campo de golfe #1 em Portugal e #27 no Mundo!
Reconhecendo as vistas panorâmicas deslumbrantes para o Oceano Atlântico, os júris da Golf Digest consideraram o design deste campo uma simbiose perfeita entre o moderno e o clássico - fairways amplos, bunkers agressivos e greens planos e angulados rodeados de perigos para o seu jogo, incluindo ainda a presença de água em vários buracos, uma características dos designs americanos.

Durante a Gala do Guia Michelin Espanha e Portugal 2022 em Valência, o restaurante fine-dining do Monte Rei - Vistas Rui Silvestre – renovou a sua estrela Michelin pelo terceiro ano consecutivo!
O Chef Rui e toda a equipa de Monte Rei estão extremamente orgulhosos e gratos por este incrível reconhecimento e gostariam de agradecer a todos os que fizeram parte desta tão bem sucedida viagem.
Estamos ansiosos pela reabertura do restaurante em março de 2022 e queremos continuar a oferecer excelentes experiências gastronómicas a todos os nossos residentes, hóspedes e visitantes!

A equipa de Monte Rei está extremamente orgulhosa com a atribuição na quase totalidade dos prémios recentemente anunciados para Portugal, pela Leadingcourses.com.
O Monte Rei Golf & Country Club alcançou o 1.º lugar no Golfers ’Choice Rankings 2021 para Melhor Clube de Golfe de 18 Buracos, Melhor Campo de Golfe, Melhor Manutenção de Golfe, Melhores Instalações e empreendimento Mais Hospitaleiro em Portugal.
O Golfers ’Choice Ranking é baseado nas avaliações dos jogadores de golfe e é o maior portal de avaliações de golfe da Europa. Todos os meses, mais de 400.000 jogadores de golfe visitam o site para escolher os próximos campos de golfe onde jogar a seguir e avaliar os campos que visitaram.

O chef executivo do Vistas - Rui Silvestre - e sua equipa uniram-se aos fornecedores locais, entre eles a Makro, e à Rede de Emergência Alimentar, para preparar e fornecer refeições aos profissionais de saúde que estão na linha da frente no combate ao Covid-19.
Foram ajudados na divulgação desta iniciativa com vista a angariar mais voluntários pela Brandelicious e Antigravity

Monte Rei is very proud to announce that our fine dining restaurant, Vistas, has been awarded its first Michelin star. Led by Executive Chef, Rui Silvestre, the entire team has worked tirelessly to ensure Vistas offers the complete dining experience.
In confirming the award, the Michelin judges praised Vistas as “a kitchen of great finesse, deserving of a visit. Using top quality ingredients, dishes with distinct flavours are carefully prepared to a consistently high standard.”
Extensive renovation work continues over the coming months, and we look forward to re-opening in March 2020 with a greatly improved kitchen area alongside a new dedicated chef’s table.

Monte Rei welcomed Jack Nicklaus to Monte Rei in July, rounding off a landmark month for the club. Mr Nicklaus spent two days at Monte Rei, working with the team responsible for designing and developing the new South Course which will open in 2021, as well as reviewing the 12-year-old and award-winning North Course.
Mr Nicklaus was very impressed by both the maturity and quality of the North Course, and the huge possibilities that the South Course offers, saying:
“Monte Rei really is a jewel! The North Course has matured over time and is a hugely impressive course now. I’m obviously very proud of it as you didn’t hire me to design a signature hole, you wanted me to design 18 signature holes, and that’s what we tried to do.”
“And with the South Course, we will create something new and distinct from the North Course, but consistent with my design philosophy. We will try to create enough variety that they love the variety, and like both golf courses. The two courses will complement each other and continue to further Monte Rei’s reputation as one of the best golf resorts in Europe.”

For the 10th year in a row, we are delighted to host our successful Summer Golf & Lunch Event and to invite golf players to experience the Jack Nicklaus North Signature Course - the nº. 1 Golf Course in Portugal - followed by a special lunch, prepared by Chef Rui Silvestre, with prize presentation.
The dress code is relaxed to smart casual for this event but all players are expected to change from golf footwear. The event will be played as an individual Stableford, with handicaps limited to 24 for Men and 36 for Ladies.
We look forward to seeing you on our greens on the 14th of August!
